Chris and Beth, the day the sign for their store, Eastern District, went up.
So it's been two years since I started my photo project, Foodaissance. Well actually I started this back in the summer of 2010 but didn't really get the name and site together till April of 2011. It's been quite a journey since when I first started. Obviously the best thing that came out of this project, is the chance to meet all the wonderful food people I have met and happy to call them my friends! This was one of my main goals for this project, to meet the people behind the foods I eat on a regular basis. And to try and keep that relationship going because I want to support them even after I finished my project.
The second best thing that came out of this project was my solo show at the James Beard House. That was totally crazy and really couldn't have done it without all the support from family and friends.
Thanks everyone for going on this journey with me and looking forward to meeting many more passionate people!
